Well, I've not managed to keep my new year's resolution so well, but I have finally drawn a new pic worth sharing with the world. In fact, this may be one of my best pics ever. :3

Not sure if any of you remember Katsuni, but it's her birthday today and I drew this for her. I had the idea around Canada Day but it was too good to leave it for another year.

I though Canadians only wore bathing suits in Florida.

Nice pic, though the shadow is unusual.

I though Canadians only wore bathing suits in Florida.

Pffft. Canadians wear bathing suits when it's 2 degrees outside.

I've also worn shorts and gone barefoot while there's snow on the ground, too.  Canadians are a bit crazy that way.

No, they're not crazy. They're 'ard. They've got tatooes. :p

And I wear shorts once it starts getting above ten degrees outside and all year inside. :3

I wear sandles all year round.

The main reason I don't go barefoot is that I haven't gotten my feet padded up sufficiently yet.

I tried that once. I stopped trying that when I pulled the third-or-so glass splinter out of my foot.

Oddly enough, I wear hiking boots exclusively now.

Good choice of an alternative day to post it; Canada's Civic Holiday.

Yes, it's true that Canadians only wear bathing suits in Florida. In Canada, we chop holes in the ice and skinny-dip in 4°C (40°F) water.

Bracing!! Cheesy

Barefooting in snow is fun, too. During the winter, I go out onto my balcony every day when I wake up, barefoot to get me nice and awake. A snowdrift is nature's foot-spa!

Of course, in the summer, when the Humidex gets up around 45°C (113°F), we don't wear anything, because even a loincloth would have you dying of heat prostration.
