In accordance with my New Year's resolution to draw more, I produced this piece of art the other day:

Not exactly a drawing so much as a piece of digital art I made in Paint Shop Pro. I needed a gas giant for my comic, and I liked what I'd created so much I made a separate piece of art out it. ^^

You can't hotlink from FA, you need to either post it as a clickable URL to the gallery page containing the image, or host it elsewhere.

Okay, I've put it up on my own site. You should see it now.

I assume you can't link to images on DeviantART either?

Anyways, here's the link to the FA page it's on: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1045220/

Yep, works now, very nice!  I like it smiley

And actually, I think you can hotlink from DA, though I've never really tried it.

Urgh, they're the hard part.

Essentially I use a texture effect while drawing and ellipse. I copy that, resize the copy to fit isn't the original and repeat. I've actually improved my ring technique since then, but it still needs work. One improvement is the rings appearing thinner on the far side of the planet (as they ought to, being much further away), which they don't in this picture.

I've also learnt to do terrestrial planets. I might upload an example sooner or later, but I've got a lot on my paws right now. ;.;

Thanks for the comments though. :3
