I once spied upon a porcupilly.
He was playing upon a picalo.
The porcupilly to which I did spy;
He was preforming his peccadillo,
Right in the middle of piccadilly.

Sounds cute, but I have two questions:

1 what's a porcupilly? Does it have anything to do with pocupine?
2 Doesn't picadilly end with a "i" (ee) sound? And spy with an "ai" (I) sound? Not that poetry always needs to rhyme of course.

Care to takl about your inspiration? ^_^

A fictional animal which is a little like a porcupine but with spines of one meter long, and bright red.

...Yes, I have been waiting for someone to ask that question...

I was going for an ABCBA rhyming structure rather than ABABA.

Someone on another forum made a silly post involving the word peccadillo. I liked the word and the poem grew from there.

"Porcupilly" is the gangster way of saying "porcupine."
