I hope I'm not the only person here who thought The Da Vinci-Code was a bad book? Or at least severely overrated?

Not at all. All you need to do to recreate the book yourself is a copy of the "rough guide to italy" and an unhealthily large amount of paranoia.

The movie is always worse than the book. That is the only rule in this universe with no exceptions.

The book was so much better than the movie. I've read it so many times that the cover fell off.

Does any0ne know the Conspiracy behind it?

more so who hasn't read the DaVinci Code and knows the secret like me.

im waitin for the movie!

There's no real conspiracy, just rumors, and I hold to that. Also, never wait for the movie, that's just poor judgement. The book is always better.

1) thinking a book was good doesn't mean you can't wait for the movie.
2) It will be difficult for the movie to be worse than the book.

It has Tom Hanks in dreads *shudder*.

You're misquoting. The rule is the movie adaptation will always be worse than the original book, and the book adaptation will always be worse than the original movie.

King Kong wasn't originally a video game.  Heck, the first movie predates video games by a few decades.

...The Super Mario Bros. movie wasn't bad as a movie, actually. It just completely ignored the game series.

Course, Uwe Boll movies (which most videogame ones recently have been) are far, far worse than non Uwe Boll adaptations.

...And I was hearing good things about the Silent Hill movie while that was being worked on. Must go see that.
